Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) was developed as a result of Richard Bandler and David Grinder wondering why some people were so successful in life and others were not. What was it that those successful people did that was different? NLP contains some of the answers and techniques developed as a result. These techniques are most effective when they are thought through, agreed with and absorbed, becoming natural ways of thinking, talking and doing things.

NLP is often marketed as a way of getting what you want and as something you can use over others. I strongly disagree with that use of such a wonderful resource. NLP can be a natural, empowering, integrated, skilfull and ethical part of our lives.
