What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming can potentially transform our lives. When learned and applied, we can change and use the wonderful resource of thinking forever. Our lives become purposeful and greatly satisfying as we experience a fundamental shift in our perception and thinking. I believe anyone capable and willing to learn new things, and with the desire for success in all aspects of life can use NLP to great effect.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) was developed as a result of Richard Bandler and John Grinder wondering why some people were so successful in life and others were not. What was it that those successful people did that was different? NLP contains some of the answers and techniques developed as a result. These techniques are most effective when they are thought through, agreed with and absorbed, becoming natural ways of thinking, talking and doing things.

NLP is often marketed as a way of getting what you want and as something you can use over others. I strongly disagree with that use of such a wonderful resource. NLP can be a natural, empowering, integrated, skilfull and ethical part of our lives.
